The ordeal of filing the petition and fiance’ visa is finally over. Once you marry your U.S. Citizen petitioner, you can now file for an Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjustment to lawful permanent resident status or most commonly known as simply Ajustment of Status (AOS). The Form I-485 is used to file AOS with USCIS, while form I-765 is used to file for Employment Authorization Document(EAD) and Advance Parole(AP). You can file the EAD and AP together with AOS.
